British Rowing Championships 2010

Testing, but fair conditions greeted our crews at this years championships which were held at Strathclyde Country Park in Scotland. Three of our four crews made it to their finals with our WJ18 double just missing out.
The MJ18 quad put in a much better performance to reach their final and WJ15 single sculler, Emily Ford continues to show great promise finishing just outside the medals in a very good race.

Henley exit!

Despite a good effort, the senior quad of Tom Ford, Rupert Wiltshire, Rob Sherry and Will Broderick could not find the rhythm they had in the qualifiers. They lost their first round to a strong Maidstone/Maidenhead crew.
Past pupils, John & Ed Ford did well with John getting to the quarter final stage with Durham Uni where they lost to a very strong Harvard crew and Ed went one better reaching the semis with Newcastle Uni.

Henley here we come!

Our senior boy's quad has qualified to compete at Henley Royal Regatta. It was especially tough this year with only 10 crews going through from the 42 asked to qualify. Well done to them and coach, Paul Rafferty.
